Distribution Transformers

Distribution Transformers Can be ordered as single phase or three-phase units with inhibited or uninhibited mineral oil available. Distribution transformers are produced with ONAN, ONAF KNAN, KNAF cooling systems and are manufactured with conservator or hermetically sealed with gas cushion. They can be designed and manufactured to ECO Design or according to customer requrements. Windings are manufactured with Copper or Aluminium. Cores are available in two, three or five columns, cut and assembled with magnetic steel, both grain oriented and amorphous steel.

SGC's Arc-Killer extinguishes an arc in 48 milleseconds

SGC SwitchGear Company’s patented SV-25 and SV-50 **Arc-Killer** takes safety to a new level. Not just the operator and the environment are shielded from harm, but the super swift arc extinguishing system allows cubicles to be back in operation very quickly in case of an internal fault. The built-in Arc-Killer extinguishes an arc in less than 50 ms, by directing it to a metal earthed short circuit.

Indoor Ring Main Units with built in Arc Killer

Compact and/or extensible SF6 insulated Ring Main Unit with load break switches, fuse switches or integrated vacuum circuit breakers. Additionally, the RMU can be fitted with a system for pressure release which shields the user from the consequences of an internal arc, called Arc-Killer. SGC’s Intelligent Switchgear Management

RX4.0 Remote Switching & Monitoring Device Boost the efficiency of your switchgear with SGC’s smart remote device. SGC’s RX4.0 offers the possibility to manage your medium voltage installation or network through an application accessible from any smartphone, tablet or computer. Operating data can be visualized and monitored by using the web portal. Notifications (alarm or warning) can be automatically transferred to the installation manager, who can take further action. Continuous monitoring of your switchgear is possible through SGC’ integrated sensors, which extends the performance and lifespan of your switchgear.

Primary Distribution

Medium Voltage Switchgear for primary distribution systems, has been developed with higher performance up to 36kV and the short time withstand current is up to 31.5kA and rated current up to 2500A and is particularly suitable for high performance power plants. Maintenance free, factory assembled and type tested medium voltage switchgear. It is three pole metal enclosed and SF6 insulated. Vacuum circuit breaker, switch disconnector and disconnector modules are available.

Secondary Distribution

Secondary Switchgear is a modular concept based on the “building blocks” principle, which means that cubicles are produced in series. As a result, the modular concept meets the highest technical standards in a rational, economically sound way. The combination of cubicles is unlimited. Very complex diagrams of distribution and transformer switchgear can be compiled through this extensive spectrum of possibilities. VOX Outdoor Dead Tank GIS Circuit Breaker

Outdoor Station Breakers - Reliability when failure is not an option Schneider’s VOX and VSB breaker station breakers have been acquired by CO7 Technologies, having had decades of proven reliability as Schneider products. GIS filled sealed-for-life tank with 3 vacuum breakers, with high mechanical and dielectric performance, optimised for reduced maintenance and low LCC. The switch is designed to operate in extreme environments such as dust, dirt, moisture, conductive metal, pollution, salted area etc, in ambient temperatures -40°C / +40°C / -40°F / +104°F.

AIS Switchgear

AIS Switchgear is a complete MV AIS switchgear range rated from 12kV to 36kV for Primary distribution. Operating safely in a distribution network requires different switching points to obtain maximum service continuity in case of fault on the network. Metallic shutters and partitions segregate the compartments from each other. When a compartment is opened all other panels in the installation and all cable termination compartments (including that in the panel concerned) remain in operation.
